Tone Your Problem Areas With These Exercises

Many women are uncomfortable with some parts of their bodies. So, it is fortunate that the smallest tweaks can lead to some significant weight loss and a leaner physique. Here are the most common problem areas that women are most concerned with, how to combat them, and ways to lead a healthier lifestyle through exercise and a proper diet.

Cellulite

Cellulite is the fat underneath the skin, which causes the dimples that we all hate. An easy way to fix this is by dieting, exercising, and reducing stress. Exercising 30 minutes a day can lessen the appearance of cellulite. You should also adopt a healthier diet, stave off sugary and fatty foods, and limit your alcohol intake.

Thighs

It is much more appealing to have a lean and muscular leg, rather than a meager and thin one. An excellent way to tone your thighs is by doing squats. Different kinds of squats will attack different parts of the thighs. A sumo squat will target your inner thighs, but a regular squat will target your outer thigh and buttocks.

Arms

We all know the stubborn arm fat that shakes whenever we move. A good way to fix this is by doing triceps pushups, dips, and medicine ball slams. You can do these exercises at home. Triceps pushups are similar to regular pushups, except that your hands will be positioned in a diamond. You can perform dips by doing a backward pushup on a couch. Extend your arms behind you so that they are on the couch and dip your whole body down. For a medicine ball slam, raise an 8 to 10-pound medicine ball over your head and throw it on the ground.

Stomach

It is believed that the stomach is where people tend to gain weight first. You can lose your belly fat by simply moving more. Engaging in more physical activities will force you to expend more energy, which will make you burn more calories. You can do simple actions, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or taking a ten-minute walk after dinner. This way, you will be able to enjoy muffins without having a muffin top.

Buttocks

Without fat on our buttocks, we will not be able to sit. Yet, we still get frustrated when we have too much fat there. One way to tone the buttocks is to do some adductor squats. You can do these by keeping your legs wider than your hips while holding a weight. The heavier the weight, the better. However, do not do anything too strenuous.

Of course, these are not the only ways to lose weight and tone your body, but it is a great place to start when tackling the most common areas of concern for women. Even a quick ten-minute walk with your dog can dramatically improve your life and your health. You can feel more mentally and physically confident.
