How Arthritis Can Affect Your Whole Body

If you find yourself complaining about a constantly achy back, a shoulder that kills, or your neck being tied in knots, you should know that these common complaints could be a warning sign that you are suffering from arthritis pain.

Arthritis pain can affect your entire body if it spreads, so carefully listen to all of the aches your body is making you aware of.  Many times, people ignore symptoms of arthritis as general aches of the body simply because arthritis is usually associated with old age.

Little do they know, arthritis pain doesn’t discriminate against age or gender and can attack at any time.  Over a quarter of a million young people alone are experiencing arthritis pain in many different parts of their body but don’t feel the need to say so.

Why does arthritis hurt so much? Arthritis—in its literal meaning—is joint inflammation. Arthritis itself has hundreds of different forms of this disease with different symptoms, which affect different places in your body.

Types of Arthritis Pain

  • Acute Arthritis Pain

Acute arthritis pain is what you experience when you cut or wound yourself. This type of pain is generally temporary and shouldn’t last more than a few days to a few weeks.

Various types of arthritis can cause acute pain. For example, when you hold yourself in the same position for an extended period, and you start to feel some of your joints aching, that’s acute arthritis pain. This type of pain goes away eventually and shouldn’t last longer than a few weeks. If it does, consult a doctor right away.

  • Chronic Arthritis Pain

Chronic arthritis pain is generally longer lasting and recurrent. This has been described as torture to many of the people who suffer from it. This type of pain can last days, weeks, months, and even years. In rare cases, this type of pain can even last for a lifetime.  Chronic pain has been described as the worst side effect of arthritis and can disable a person permanently.

Every person can handle various amounts of pain differently. This makes it particularly difficult to describe the exact amount of pain one with arthritis may feel. Some people can’t take the pain and will stop all activity if they feel even a little discomfort, and some may continue to work and walk while enduring harsh pain.

Is there a cure for arthritis?

Unfortunately, doctors haven’t found a cure for arthritis yet. But there are various medications that you can take that will dull the pain caused by arthritis. Doctors can offer you advice on what medications to take, how often, and when. For the most part, doctors recommend taking Tylenol, Aspirin, Midol, Ibuprofen, or other anti-inflammatory drugs.

Or you can use a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) like Red Mint to fight pain and body aches. As a bonus, it even moisturizes your skin. So use Red Mint from Orgaanics today!
